Co-Netic is one of the alloys with higher magnetic permeability in the market, reaching a maximum relative permeability of 450,000, similar to or higher than for the classic alloys of the "µmetal" type ("µ" is a Greek letter pronounced as "mu"). To have this high permeability, the sheet has been specially annealed, in Hydrogen atmosphere, at high temperatures, over several hours. We call this optimum annealing process "Perfection Annealed".

Netic is an alternative material to shield relatively high fields, which would saturate the Co-Netic. This alloy has a much lower permeability, but a far higher magnetic flux of saturation.
